Dr Rose McDonnell

Dr Rose McDonnell has majored in biochemistry, microbiology, and haematology as a medical scientist. Dr McDonnell has spent several years working in various areas of medicine upon completing her medical degree. She went on to commence her training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology when she began working at King Edward Memorial Hospital in Subiaco.

Dr McDonnell's exposure to Reproductive medicine early in her training allowed her to culminate in several research projects with Professor Roger Hart and a Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine. Following the completion of her training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Dr McDonnell began an AGES Laparoscopic Gynaecology Fellowship at King Edward Memorial Hospital and completed her Masters in Reproductive Medicine.

Dr McDonnell is pleased to offer all aspects of fertility care and has a special interest in IVF and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). She offers evening clinics and Skype appointments at Fertility Specialists of WA for patients who might find it difficult to attend during the day or work away. 

As Dr McDonnell has two children of her own, she feels honoured to be able to help those who wish to experience the joy of having a child.
